Sustainability Education at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa
At the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, sustainability is at the heart of our educational mission. Across all disciplines, we equip students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical framework to contribute meaningfully to a sustainable future, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our Academic Programmes
The University offers 18 degree programmes across 8 colleges, spanning medicine, law, engineering, business, Islamic sciences, science, media, and nursing:

Embedding Sustainability Across the Curriculum
Of the 18 programmes offered, 8 have sustainability-focused courses and modules explicitly embedded, providing students with actionable knowledge aligned with the SDGs. These courses address social, environmental, and economic dimensions of sustainable development.
Examples of sustainability-focused modules include:
- Medicine & Nursing – Human Rights (SDG 1, 3, 5), Democracy (SDG 5, 10), Professional Ethics (SDG 3, 5, 10)
- Law – International Human Rights (all SDGs), Constitutional Law (SDG 3, 4, 8), Administrative Law (SDG 1, 2, 3, 5, 11, 16), Crime & Punishment (SDG 1, 4, 8, 16)
- Business Administration – Human Rights (SDG 5), Human Resources (SDG 8), Economy (SDG 12), Institutional Theory & Organisational Behaviour (SDG 16)
- Islamic Sciences – Ethics of the Quran (SDG 4, 5, 10, 16), Democracy (SDG 8, 10, 16), Rights & Freedom (SDG 5, 10, 16), Adopting the Lifestyle of Prophets (SDG 1, 2, 3, 5, 16)
- Engineering – Environmental Engineering & Renewable Energy (SDG 7, 12, 13), Mechanical & Civil Engineering (SDG 9, 12)
In total, 17 courses across these 8 programmes explicitly embed sustainability objectives, giving students practical, discipline-specific skills to advance sustainable development in their fields.
