The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa operates a single integrated sustainability unit whose six dedicated staff members serve simultaneously across three institutional functions:
As the Office of Sustainability, the team holds full operational responsibility for GHG reporting, sustainability policy, mandatory annual staff training, ten student sustainability clubs, and submissions to UI GreenMetric and QS World University Sustainability Rankings.
As the Sustainability Committee, the same team forms the core of the formal governance body, established by administrative decree and reporting directly to the University President — joined by the VP for Academic Affairs (executive leadership), Finance & Administration, three College Representatives, an elected Student Representative, and an External Adviser from the Ministry of Environment.
As the Environmental Research Centre, the team leads applied research across four clusters, water resources and scarcity, renewable energy and the built environment, climate change and GHG accounting, and biodiversity and dryland ecology, contributing directly to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision.
