UOWA shares its knowledge beyond the campus. In 2025, our colleges and centres ran free educational activities for three groups in the wider community: local residents, displaced people and our alumni. The activities covered water conservation, preventive health and skills for work. This page lists each activity with its date, audience and reach.

1. Local community
Water-saving workshop for farmers at Fadak Farm
The workshop built on UOWA’s ongoing support at the farm. The College of Engineering designed its drip irrigation network, and the Department of Information Technology installed soil-moisture sensors with weather-based irrigation scheduling.
