Warith Al-Anbiyaa University Achieves Global Recognition in THE Impact Rankings 2026

Warith Al-Anbiyaa University has achieved another significant international milestone by securing a distinguished position in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026, reaffirming its commitment to sustainability and excellence in higher education.

The University was ranked within the 401–600 global band and secured 2nd place among private universities in Iraq, reflecting its continuous efforts to integrate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into education, research, community engagement, and institutional governance.

Among its most notable achievements, the University ranked:

  • 53rd globally in SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy.

  • 101–200 globally in SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation.

  • 201–300 globally in SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.

The THE Impact Rankings assess universities worldwide based on their contributions to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through excellence in teaching, research, knowledge transfer, environmental stewardship, community engagement, and institutional policies.

This achievement reflects the University's strategic commitment to sustainability and is the result of the continuous support of the University Presidency, along with the collaborative efforts of its colleges, research centers, academic departments, and administrative units.
