A step towards contemporary engineering education aligned with global ranking standards

At the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, we believe that academic excellence is not achieved within classrooms alone  it is enriched through real-world, practical experience.

In line with this vision, the Department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering organised a scientific field visit to Karbala Refinery, providing our students with the valuable opportunity to experience the operational environment first-hand and observe the latest technologies in refinery management and oil processing.

Such applied initiatives not only align with international academic quality benchmarks and global university ranking criteria, but also contribute to the achievement of several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:

-SDG 4: Quality Education  by enhancing applied, experiential learning opportunities.
-SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth  by preparing highly skilled graduates for the energy sector.
-SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure  by fostering collaboration between academia and industrial institutions.
