Field Visit to Review the Sustainable Development Projects at the UOWA

As part of UOWA’s continuous field tours to monitor the progress of the projects supervised by the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), His Eminence conducted a visit to the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa to review the stages of implementation and the ongoing progress of several key projects. These include the Student Pedestrian Bridge Project, the Dormitory Buildings, the Research Center, the Teaching Hospital of the College of Medicine, and the University Tower (Presidency Building).
During the visit, his Eminence emphasized the importance of integrating strong academic development with robust infrastructural growth, while also nurturing students’ national, professional, ethical, and humanitarian values—as they represent the hope of the future and the foundation for the country’s advancement.

He further highlighted that the ongoing projects and renovation to existing infrastructure are being implemented in alignment with energy efficiency and environmental sustainability principles, through the adoption of energy-saving lighting systems, high thermal insulation materials, and plans to utilize solar energy in several key facilities. These initiatives reflect the university’s commitment to enhancing environmental sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint, thereby providing a safe, efficient, and sustainable learning environment for its students.
